Following an investigation, Suffolk County Police Third Precinct Crime Section officers arrested the trio in Brentwood on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7:45 p.m.

Terron O’Connor, Christine Tacktill and Steven Jameau at were apprehended at EZ Pawn on Brentwood Road.

O’Connor, 39, of Ontario Street in Ronkonkoma, was charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and felony possession of stolen property. 

Tacktill, 34, also of Ontario Street in Ronkonkoma, was charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and felony possession of stolen property. He was involved in five of the 18 incidents, police said.

Jameau, 35, of Colonial Place in Centereach, was charged with felony possession of stolen property. He was involved in one of the incidents, police said.

O’Connor was charged in connection with incidents that occurred at:

  • Target, 160 North Research Plaza, Central Islip on Sept. 26
  • Lowe’s, 800 Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore on Sept. 23
  • Target, 838 Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore on Sept. 20
  • Target, 265 Pond Path, South Setauket on Sept. 18
  • Target, 838 Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore on Sept. 14
  • Target, 265 Pond Path, South Setauket on Sept. 16
  • Bed, Bath & Beyond, 5131 Sunrise Highway, Bohemia on Sept. 13
  • Target, 1149 Sunrise Highway, Copiague on Sept. 9
  • EZ Cash Pawn & Jewelry, 1913 Brentwood Rd., Brentwood on Sept. 9
  • EZ Cash Pawn & Jewelry, 1913 Brentwood Rd., Brentwood on Sept. 7
  • Target, 100 Willow Park Center, Farmingdale on Aug. 12

O’Connor and Jameau were held overnight at the Third Precinct and Tacktill was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct. They are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday, Sept. 29.
